Wah this article says 34000 property owners already asked for deferment in payment. How long this scheme can last? Tiagong only up till October or December 2020. 

Next year how? When this deferment scheme stops, what is going to happen?

Agree. Don’t understand y they are still proud of it when they still owe the banks. The rental income go to the banks not their pocket lei

if you take loan to buy A180 .... that's bad debt

if you take loan to buy 10 properties ... that's good debt ... 

hearsay, must take advantage of the low interest for the next 20 years .... 

no meh? [sly]  i attended 10+ courses and webinars leh ...

If cannot service A180 loan, it will be bad debt.

If cannot service 10 property loans, it will be bad debt.

to be fair to agent ... the formula is right ... but the game cannot be played by everyone 

in fact ... out of 100 ... maybe less than 10 can play this game ...

the problem is ... the other 90 thought so highly of themselves after TCSS by agent also want to be in the game ....

Debt is debt la, think so easy to sell meh if cannot service. ? Then why there are so many bank sales or foreclosure cases🤣

Even if someone wants to be in the game, the choice is not his, unless he doesn't take loan.

The choice lies with the bank. Only the bank can decide if that person qualifies for the loan to buy the property. And with TDSR, LTV, interest rate based on 3.5%, that eligibility is not low.

So if we want to talk about property ownership through loan,  it is not like anyone can just walk into a bank, take a loan and buy a property that is beyond his means.

wah ... mcf property gurus already said defer payments not because cash flow problem lah

ah gong nice enough to grant debt holiday, apply liao take the cash saved during  this period and invest in other instruments to make another 50-100% capital gains 

property gurus jin smart one ... will never lose $

Then they have to lelong and sell. Many MCF bros will buy full cash.....😅

Wah guru means guru. The answers i got here are..

1) Property will go higher after deferment ends.

2) Make use of deferment to make 50% capital gains.

3) Lelong sales and let MCF bros buy with full cash.

4) Run road after deferment ends.

am sure the banks will assess your eligibility for the deferment. They not so dumb lei.
