Those interested in new Honda Civic FE better re-consider this new model full of problems. Shock absorber & Steering got issue and cabin/dashboard sometimes give out rattling noise.

The showroom car at ubi had a squeaky car boot when i went to view the car few months ago as well.

Follow by A pillars cover is loose and shaky. If you went showroom again can sit inside the car and shake the A pillar cover and u will know what i mean.

@turbotan For A Pillar issue, don't forget as times go by it might rattle and become more loose because your car is everyday vibrating on the road. You wont know what will happen when warranty go out after 5 yrs.

Definitely late to the discussion but I drove the car recently and clearly knocking off a whole 60hp (1/3rd) off the 1.5 turbo's natural power made the car a terrible slug when it still has to move the same mass.

Can't see a reason to buy it.

@Macrosszero This can be tune. The boost pressure is very low because they downtune it. Engine is L15BG if you open bonnet to see. Unleash the power to 180hp sure no problem.

Not sure if it is worth it voiding the warranty especially for a relatively new car. 🤔

@kelaihoyin I dont feel any different there is warranty or not with KM. Their way of working basically no sincere in helping you solve your problem and use dragging time method. To me KM is just like a PI company.

Sick of dealing with a bunch of less people from there.

For engine your boost pressure as long not more than 1.3bar should be ok. Consult your tuner better than ask KM staffs.

You can ask some of the tuners out there to help, don’t think kah motor will check though whether you tune I mean restore the engine to original power configuration and not the detuned state for (SG) market.

Oh yes, mine also has this, noticed it when washing car last time but I didn’t really bother, thought maybe it’s the part of the moulding or something.

Yeah I know what you mean. Mine are quite tight so no rattling so far, maybe in future might come loose, keep my fingers crossed. There’s a thread in the US forums on dashboard rattle and some of them have solved it, if you need a link let me know.

Which one u went to? So far my two servicing I went leng kee and felt happy with the service. Some idiot in carpark scratched my bumper and they even remove it and make it look good as new for me, free. Still Damn pissed off with their parts department though….recently bought the two lower garnish for exhaust from other sources, talking to them vomit blood.

Meanwhile

https://paultan.org/2022/05/10/review-2022-honda-civic-rs-in-malaysia-rm144k/

"Everything comes at a price

I came into the drive sort of guessing how the car would shape up, but came away from it more than pleasantly surprised at how well it exceeded expectations. The shape, as it turns out, is very likeable, especially presented in its RS form, but it is the workings elsewhere that scores the real hits and makes for more than just an evolution from that before."

This might be intended to "improve" the overall drag coefficient of the car. I stand corrected.

I recall Toyota Altis also has that.

@Confusedboi They can check the flash date so KM will know. Anyway this engine can handle 180hp. So it shouldnt give you problem. Unless u ho track and whack at 6000rpm and above everytimes then I think might havr high chance it will give way over times. A good tuner will able to advisr you @kelaihoyin I dont feel any different there is warranty or not with KM.
