I found it nice...

But for the expected selling price, most likely Scala will be cheaper and better option for me between the 2.

2 different chassis platform .. u are like comparing polo for scala with golf.. apple n oranges has different attributes other than prices .

unless u comparing Africa apples with US apple s than there are good comparison to be had

my earlier understanding of Skoda Fabia was fundamentally flawed.

it’s on the same mqb-Evo chassis so that’s a nearer configuration comparable to golf mk8

*****
The new supermini is now based on the Volkswagen Group's modular MQB-A0 platform, making it possible to enlarge its interior. It is also now 4,108mm-long, making it considerably longer than its predecessor.

Just hope

Just hope the Mk8 GTi looks better in the flesh than in pictures

Otherwise I reckon the Mk7 is a keeper

Mk7.5 is besterest [thumbsup]

i dislike the new front headlight just like previous 1-series ugly eye-bag headlight ... yucks

Same here .. but some like it .. I feel Skoda with the mix bags of virtual cockpit and tactile mechanical buttons still works best

I thought that Scala is same plateform as Golf.

Fabia same as Polo.

I read all the space inside and boot all bigger than Golf for Scala.

the 150bhp will never comes to spore la because of the 130bhp cat A

just look at mk7 ... lol

May not necessary be the case. Skoda Centre Singapore brings in the Scala 1.5 (150bhp) which is under CAT B.

Must refer to the chassis that’s why I was wrong earlier on for Fabia as it was on the polo platform earlier generations
