Some area no choice but have to walk in the carpark. But when walking around the flats, i also will walk in the void deck than outside of the blk, scare people throw things down or worst sucide!

Walk across the car park I can definitely understand.

Walk along the car park roads - that's where the problems arises.

And rightfully so. Last time no stomp or in car camera. Now less strict because can easily nap the offender

no matter what happen, drivers need to be more aware of the surrounding.

this mazda put so much sunshade and being a wagon , rear  windows seems tinted plus sunshade.

imagine the limited visibility even when head turned to check

is the AD car fault, didn't come with reverse camera....[laugh]

Pedestrians are always in "god mode"; they are always right and you can't touch them even if they closed their eyes and walk across the road blind.

Pedestrian is in god mode only in court. But in real life, they're *so* not in god mode. They lose the most.

IMHO.
Student was seen waving to someone  about 10 metres away.
Auntie was looking in the direction of the car when it stopped, engaged reverse gear and began parking.
At the same time, auntie became interested to know whom the student was waving and look in that direction of the student.
Auntie is likely to be aware of the car was parking as her walking path deviated closer to the parked cars.
The last few moments,  auntie was looking forward and tried to evade but too late.

Both were wrong la although mazda driver More wrong

There is a bus stop right in front of the shell.

Residents there 9 out 10 all would  cut throught the carpark to reach their residence beside the hawker centre. The is a stairway at the end if the carpark.

The safer is to walk along the main road pedestrian pathway which mean literally another 15 more minutes of walking.
