This is a reply to a forummer who qns about tree pruning. Somehow the posting wasn't tagged when i clicked on reply

Trees are pruned because overgrown branches may break during thundery weather.

Trees are planted on the road side to cool down the ambient temperature and to provide greenery.

Its irritating but the positives outweight the minor inconveniences.

Small road, low traffic volume,  give and take lah. Dont complain over small things to make own life miserable.

If the car go against traffic, even small road is no no.

And I hate those driving against traffic in  car park, to get to the empty lot faster.

Impossible only 4 cars in CTE tunnel in the afternoon ....  :slow:

Every minutes easily 30 ~ 40 cars along anywhere on CTE. :we-all-gonna-die:

If its the car who reverse n hit, he/she shld write on paper, his/her contact number and name. Write reason that u reverse n hit the car by accident. Take pictures of both car. Then try to do private settlement if the other party is okie and not too serious. If the damage is high then both parties after contact, report to insurance co and do the normal processing claim.

If its the hit n run, then the victim shld make a report to insurance co and make a police report.

quote from a web

Leaving the scene of an accident is considered “hit-and-run”. Under the Singapore legal system, it is a punishable offence with a penalty of a maximum fine of $3,000 or 12 months in jail for first-time offenders. This act of irresponsibility will also further complicate matters and affect your insurance claims. Thus, it is highly advisable for you to stop the car at a safe spot immediately upon collision and alight.

The hit and run is confirm jia lat jia lat... private settle likely its going to be lower then 3k fine, if claim insurance also likely to be cheaper... If kana jail which is unlikely due to minor accident. But he travel wrong side n hit n run think cant run from more serious punishment.

It's obvious that the Bentley was trying to avoid a confrontation and was trying to "escape" from the Honda Fit/Jaz.
