yeah, expressway is expressway speed, otherwise defeats the purpose facilitating vehicular movement.

yeah, no point implementing measures affecting all road users when the accident is caused by a few kuku drivers with lousy tyres.

noticed a lot of drivers nowadays are drive by GPS, so eyes glued on hp and not learning road and traffic conditions, so end up very late reaction times.

if Jln Anak Bukit were so bad there would be easily 100 accidents there daily, 500 on rainy days. [:p]

I mention many time, many driver do not brake correct during a bend.

They only start to brake middle of the bend when they felt speed is too fast, which will easy cause lost control especially when road is wet.

Always need to brake or slow down before bend, half way through can pick up speed.

That is good for bend on flat road.

Bend on uphill need a higher level of skill set....know how to "keep within speed limit".🤭

I’m not convinced.. that’s the easy explanation without having to do anything...

How to be convinced when so many accident happened at the same spot?

yeah, think all the skidding starts after the halfway mark of the bend, so its late (over)reaction to the road conditions. anyways, those 100% drive by GPS ones will never understand this.

and no amount of car aids will help if tyres are already marginal.

👍 its takes alot of self reflection and awareness to know the roads, to know your car ('s limits or capability, tires, brakes, etc) and to know yourself (driving style, experiences..). Years ago, i remembered nearly lost control of my hatchback while going in at a fast speed at a corner 😨and since then, i have learnt my lesson. i have not looked back since then and am enjoying my drive each time i take the wheel. 😊

There are a few roads in Singapore that weed out the weak, careless or distracted drivers:

PIE (Anak Bukit Flyover)

CTE-TPE underpass

Upper Cross Street into CTE

BKE-PIE (toward Changi)

Sheares Bridge to Rochor Road

The common feature of these five roads is that there's always a bend involved...... what was it that Colin McRae said,

""Straight roads are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers"

BKE - PIE (towards Tuas) will feed into Anak Bukit Flyover, double the fun. [sly]

Whose fault?

Green lights for the biker. But still painful even if he was not at fault. CCB MPV. Hope his/her licence gantung.
