Seems like the E180 has been discontinued

Notice that there is no mention of the 1.5L engine capacity in the E180

I saw the 1.5L E180 being listed in sgcarmart just last month.

Probably discontinued as the price difference with the 2.0L E200 is marginal.

I am surprised that since you checkout sgcarmart almost every day, you are not aware that the facelift E-Class has been launched in Singapore officially last Thursday...

For the facelift E-Class, the entry model is E200, no more E180 for now. Whether it will make a come back in the near future shall depend on Mercedes strategy for other market within the region (e.g. Vietnam, Philippines, etc.)

I prefer the pre facelift E class look.

The facelifted E class rear lamp cluster somehow cheapens the image and snob appeal, resembling the base model A class and bread & butter Korean Kia K3

The E180 last time VES C1 while E200 VES B M274/M264 engine that's why price gap is not that great. Now also confirmed in SG carmart that FL E200 M254 engine now is VES C1 (my collegues bought one next day after launching and delivery in Jan 2021). I think may be E180 will be back and may be price gap be wider since both VES C1

The FL w213 is using the same engine as the later batch of pre FL w213(2018 onwards), which is the m264 engine with 197ps and no eq boost. Not sure why the FL model is ves c1 whereas the old one isn't.

Probably one of the pollutants just eeked past the limits.

Too complicated for me to understand, not sure if weight and tyre size play a part  , there was once the Altis has a surcharge on the higher spec model but not on the  standard model, both models had exactly the same engine.

Pre-FL CO2: 149g/km;    hp: 135kw

FL CO2: 176g/km;           hp: 145kw

Increase in 10kw of hp

(from LTA fuel cost calculator)

the later batch of pre fl w213 also used the 145kw engine. It is essentially the same engine and only lta knows the answer.

There are too many variant of E200 with 145kw engine in LTA Fuel Cost Calculator

B

E200 SEDAN AMG LINE (R18 LED SR)

E200 SEDAN AVG (R18 LED)

E200 SEDAN AVG (R18 LED SR)

E200 SEDAN EXECUTIVE (R18 LED)

E200 SEDAN EXECUTIVE (R18 LED SR)

C1

E200 SEDAN AMG LINE

E200 SEDAN AMG LINE (R18 LED)

E200 SEDAN AVG

E200 SEDAN EXECUTIVE

Maybe can look at the spec including wheel size to explain why

The FL E200 engine code is M254 new generation with ISG integration(internal starter generator)

While what I got in Nov 2020 registered E200  pre FL is M264 145kW this is engine is for BSG integration (belt starter generator)

Both per-FL and FL EQ system opted out for local AD.

so W213 E200 got 3 types of engine M274 & M265 pre-FL and M254 for FL version.

M274 135 kW

M264 145 kW

M254 145 kW
