When i was a junior in the navy, there were not enough bunk for everyone. We had to share bunk, aka bunk hopping. We also got no personal lockers and had to share lockers. Our conditions were worse than the dormitories, at least these FW had their own bed. It was so packed in the ship that there was no personal space. 

I wonder why there was no spread in the navy compared to the dormitories. Not sure how the navy doing social distancing in a ship.

Very likely follow US Navy protocol (after roosevelt).  14 days Isolation before boarding.

Those on sea cannot have any contact with land based staff.

Hahah. Same. 60% of my sailing days I am sleeping at the gun bay. Cause I NSF only. lowest lifeform in the ship. hahahah. 🤣

yeah but they also close and restrict a lot of things like bars, ktvs,  restaurants (no sit in dining), social gathering events, schools, etc

let see how they relax the restriction and whether 2nd wave come ...

Person flew in from Qatar, IIRC. There are still some flights previously. There's less worry about imported cases as long as SHN is enforced strictly.

reality is, every country will have second wave, third wave etc after easing lockdowns, because the virus is already among us and there is still no vaccine. 

now is the time to look into protocols for responding to subsequent infections which are more focused and effective, and not a blunt lockdown which affects everyone, including those who have taken steps to keep themselves healthy throughout.
