I think the term used was "technically not supposed to do it".

It didnt say it was illegal to wash the car.

Then again, our travel restrictions were also "advisories" only and not a ban.  So it depends on how u interpreted it, I guess.

Was going to ask the same question about washing car since I'm quite free now and car very dirty. Technically I don't think is allowed.

If wash and get caught just say you doing squats beside your car with wet cloths and buckets of water to maintain your body temperature. 😁

If can’t do, they would have cordoned off the washing bay with red and white tape or the orange web thingy isn’t it?

I don't think that is a requirement.

Some have done it more than once, and he was not caught! Good luck to him.

You can do it but don't get caught!

Jurong Point lunch time.

All lifts are shut down.

Everyone is herded to escalators, everyone has their NRIC scanned into their database.

1 km queue to get into escalator. whether you're going up or going down.

What a way to spread the virus love, by crowding everyone together.

Oh wait, what were they thinking ?

How about PDPA scanning everyone's NRIC ?

I hope the mall operators are taking PDPA seriously too.. don't want another singhealth case to happen..

Coronavirus: Hongkongers told not to lower guard as city records no new cases for third time in past week

https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/health-environment/article/3081600/coronavirus-hong-kong-records-no-new-cases-third

I recall a certain ministar making comments on HK's handling of Covid19 a few months ago, just look at where HK is now and where we are now.

Some people should just diam diam MYOB and focus on ensuring egg and vegetable supply. <_<

I noticed price of eggs and tomatoes has gone up ... :excl:

Not blaming that fella for price increase of eggs and tomatoes, but think it's better for him to just get back to SAF. It suits his behaviour better and it's definitely more harmless to all of us.

Temasek CEO Says S$800 Million Earmarked for Coronavirus Fight

(Bloomberg) -- Singapore’s Temasek Holdings Pte plans to spend more than S$800 million ($563 million) on efforts to combat the spread of Covid-19, according to Chief Executive Officer Ho Ching.

In a Facebook post last week, Ho, who is also the wife of Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, said the board of Temasek last month approved S$500 million of its community fund to be redirected toward coronavirus response efforts, on top of the S$50 million set aside in February.

In addition, S$250 million of the S$1 billion earmarked to fund R&D efforts around Temasek’s long-term investment themes has been directed to Covid-related “therapeutics and vaccines research and development,” she said.

Singapore is preparing to roll out mass testing for its 5.7 million-strong population. While the city-state was lauded in the early days of the pandemic for using contact tracing to identify people deemed likely to have been infected, persistent outbreaks in foreign-worker dorms and the broader population have resulted in a continued lock down and mandatory mask wearing.

“We would probably prioritize those working in the essential services first before expanding to the public,” Ho said, referring to mass testing.

In another Facebook post on Sunday, she called upon manufacturers selling blood prick antibody tests to provide more performance data.

Ho also said work was being done with private hospitals in Singapore to test people who don’t meet the current criteria in exchange for a fee that would be refunded if their results came back positive.

“We probably can do this at scale starting mid to end May,” she said.

The virus has taken a substantial toll on the value of Temasek’s net assets, with public and private company valuations tumbling in recent months. The state investment firm is also backstopping a multibillion-dollar capital raising for Singapore Airlines Ltd.
