Vezel/HRV also coming out by next yr so this segment will be competitive with the 2 big Jap brands introducing the 2 models at almost the same time. Hope this will make the ADs price their cars competitively!

i have ask around, most PI are just going to sell the X and XB model,

you wont see any z specs due to VES banding to fall from a $10,000 rebate (currently projected) to a neutral grade, which means price difference between XB and Z will easily be more than $10,000 (higher OMV too = higher ARF and costing)  zzzzzzzzzzzz

There will be PIs that will bring in higher spec variant definitely, just like the Raize

so far the G specs Raize are the highest in spore...there is no z specs here

The business mindset here more kasu .   sell the lowest  bare bone specs for maximum profit

If it’s going to jump to a different VES banding then for sure no.
Given that from next year it will be 15k difference between VES A2 and B.

How does different spec affects VES banding?

upsize of the wheel. G grade yaris cross is 205/65R16 WLTC:30.2km/l, Z grade is 215/50R18 WLTC:27.8km/l

thus CO2 emissions are different and also pollutants.

https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/yariscross/001_p_001/4.0/pdf/spec/yariscross_spec_202008.pdf

a good example was the 2018/19 audi A4 which came with 16in wheels.

The emission readings in Singapore are independent from Japan’s emission reading. Depends on point of import if I’m not wrong.
let’s see if any PIs will bring in the higher spec ones over the next few months. Saw on fb There is a PI doing a launch Tmr I think

Likely it won’t be far off. Test results will be close to WLTC.
WLTC is a world standard.
