Wa now enen drive through is closed. Looks like Mcdonald side is getting super serious.. Don't know is it because that there might have more new cases to be uncovered that is linked to McDonald's or because of management want to be on safer side of the option.

I hope they will do another right thing by continue to pay salaries to the staff.

Many MacD staff on hourly rate.  The company can be heartless by not paying anything

Is it just me, I am expecting a spike in the McDonald's cluster in the next few days....

There must be a reason MOH ask them to fully close.

Painful but necessary move by MOH and MCD. We all know how Singaporeans love MCD. It's MCD breakfast, MCD when you're not quite sure what to eat, MCD when you wanna eat shaker fries, MCD when you just wanna chill somewhere for supper but everyone's closed cos it's late. MCD when you have large group gathering at home and wanna order takeaway. MCD before/during morning meetings.

Goodbye MCD. Till we meet again.

The way I look at it, at least Sporeans can get a break from unhealthy fast food.

At the end of this, look like most people will be healthier with them eating home food,  suddenly pick up exercises just to leave the house,  and no fast food......

I don't think you need to worry about this.

The authorities should have iron out this part with McD before they are ask to close if you consider how generous the recent budget is to the companies in order to save jobs.

I think they are paying salaries despite the shutdown.

With G paying 75% of local wages this month, don't think anyone will fire their local workforce yet. This is something G is doing very well... to keep locals employed and businesses from failing too fast too furious.  But I don't know for how long.

So the reserves are real.... Wahaha...

The company also said it will continue to pay salaries of employees, including seniors, whose roles will be disrupted during this period. This is "in appreciation for their support to fight the virus together", said McDonald's.

I thought closing takeaway should suffice. There's a mcd nearby but never saw the q spill outside which meant everyone found some safe distance inside :D

I guess the cluster must've been quite serious for total closure.

Even they don't close, I won't dare to order any McD knowing there is a cluster.
