How many times you took to pass Driving Test (TP)?

How long you are leaving Singapore? 

If longer than 6 months.... 

Then take in that country.

Yeah, good point. My plan is to come back at Christmas but if there is a long SHN it wouldn't really be worth returning. I am just hoping to get it done before I leave this time.

 

I'll call the other 2 driving centres tomorrow and see how.....

If bt batok test date is end of sep, maybe even others driving centre should be about the same?

Becos of this pandemic my daughter learning had been drag for so long i think normal times can get pilot license! Whahahahahaha..

She start learning since quarter 1 last year with Ubi and suay suay been shut 2 times i think.. slots is rare and so hard to book. She wanna convert to private but i warned her not be easy to get circuit and test date too.

now even private need to register at school then can start learning? Then i don understand wtf is this private..

anyone can enlighten me who took driving lessons 30 years back! 🤣🤣🤣

Check if can make it in time in SG to take the driving test and pass. 

If not, if you stay more than 6 months then can convert oversea licence into SG licence as you already have basic theory. 

Just need to take the additional theory test of the oversea country before driving test. 

If stay less than 6 months also no problem, just take the oversea driving test to allow you to drive there 1st.

Due to this pandemic, everything have been dragging very long lo. From building BTO, to house reno and getting driving licence etc. Really super sian. So have your daughter got her licence liao?

no wor... still waiting for a date to convert to private learning.. strange is why cannot learn from private if not convert... i don get this part..

by then if she passed my COE Swift be reincarnated to Coke can liao..

@Ody_2004 I also learn at ubi…. Registered in oct 2020, basic theory test in nov 2020, final theory in feb 2021 and passed TP in March 2021. Wasn’t that difficult to book lessons, I have lessons 1-2 times a week from dec20-feb21. 
once your daughter done final theory, all simulations then can book TP test. Dates released few times a week… when I was booking, it was 3 times per week… for 1-2 days for 2 weeks later.

One attempt each for the basic theory, advance theory and the driving test (6 points). I was so confident with the driving test that I made a bet with my platoon mates I will not score more than 6, and many of them accepted the bet. Luckily for them and according to the test sheet, I did not check a blind spot and that caused me 4 points, otherwise I will win that bet.

My daughter also start learning this year, she learn manual gear some more.

Slot is limited and always need to fight for slot.

Now the whole system for the learning before allow to book a driving test is so complex. However when I look at new driver on the road, this complex learning does nòt make them drive better at all.

Convert to private learning faster to get the licence ah? If already learning at the driving school, should continue la. Unless private learning really faster than school.

Thats fast, 6 months can get driving licence liao, even during this covid pandemic.

Why she learn manual? Guess manual cars in driving centre should be limited, thats why slot is limited also?

Nowadays dont think many people would learn manual cause no chance to drive manual car also, since almost all vehicles in sg are auto. Even most commercial vehicles also auto.
