Today although traffic lessen by about 40%.. I still see some human traffic... Then I also saw one taxi driver quite ke Lian.. Park at open air carpark stand outside taxi and eat the ta pao noodle.

Ya a little challenging for taxi and Grab drivers to eat their meals. They have to get used to eating in their cars though. No choice...

On Monday, MOM would have already email the company. If you need to apply for approval, means MOM tell you NO right?

It's not MOM but MTI, ministry of trade and industry.

Cannot assume. Got to summit application of exemption thru the "covid go business" website using company corp pass. Their reply will come via email. If their respond is fast and "stop work" means your company's services are not that essential. If it's taking a long time for their reply and still pending, likely got hope to carry on.

They are overwhelmed by the applications. So many SMEs in sgp. Over 90% companies in sgp are SMEs. Surely a lot of businesses will try to apply for exemption.

The rules over at hair salons/barbers are clearer - only basic services like haircuts, which reduce occupancy and waiting time, no fancy add-on things like hair dyeing or manicures.

My hairstylist is closing her 2 shops till control period is over.  Said haircut alone cannot cover cost, might as well suspend operations and minimize risk to her and her staff.

So guys, get ready rubber band.  Wahaha....

Just kidding, the corner barber shops should remain open.

I will wait till tomorrow and see if any worker or the boss come and clear it. By tomorrow, no clear, will call the contractor and NEA.

This is not the way to shutdown a work site and leave us residents at risk during this dengue season.

At least you can see how it looks like, my side, i cannot see if there are stagnant water, only can pray and hope they cover up and empty all container properly.

My barber is in the vulnerable group (has been cutting my hair 20 plus years) - I will try not to have him cut my hair during this period, in case I am asymptomatic.

Like I said... Bottom line matters.

Covid or not,  can make more money, must make more money. That's their philosophy.

No, show a full lockdown  is needed like China.

People here just don't listen and take advice.

This is why China covid situation seems to get better now cause they implemented full lockdown very fast back then?

No choice for these taxi/PHV drivers, cannot dine in at eatery, so have to eat this way. Dont know how bus drivers eat their meal since they have food stall at interchange also, and think also not allowed for them to sit at the stall to eat?!

Yeah. Economic growth cannot afford to go zero. But at the same time reduce infection.
