Lao Fu Zi was made famous with his help

According to the China Press, Mr Wu was the founder of Ng Hing Ke Book & Newspaper Agency, the publishing company in charge of Old Master Q comics.

He first saw the work of artist Alfonso Wong Kar Hei in the papers in 1964, and wanted to work with him.

Along with Mr Wong, who died in 2017, Mr Wu promoted the series to new heights.

As surprising as it may be to many, I've read Lao Fu Zi in English translation as a kid. Loved it. Sometimes damn dirty. Like Benny Hill for kids. 😂
