My neighbours along the corridor and top floor both doing major renovation during this period.

Listening to construction noise is a pain to WFH 😓. i prefer to go to office

Most cities already in lock down mode or semi lock down mode, SGP still business as usual.

My WFH routine..

Weekday.

  • Wake up 6am
  • Brush teeth
  • Check email and respond to those shorter emails
  • Breakfast
  • Continue working while listening to class95
  • Tea break and/or go groceries shopping
  • Prep for lunch or buy back
  • Depending tired or not, will nap 15-20mins or go for a walk
  • Continue work until 3pm
  • Prepare food for kid's dinner
  • Pick up kid from child care
  • Shower kid
  • Prepare own dinner
  • Put kid to sleep
  • OTOT after that

Rinse repeat for 5 days..

You nap during your lunch hour or working hour arh? Lol.

I think I put in more hours at home.

Naturally wake up, 7 to 8am

9 to 11am study

11 to 2pm lunch and watch tv

2 to 5pm study

5 to 8pm exercise, dinner, shower and watch tv

8 to 11pm study

Next day cycle repeats.

Wfm in a way good also, cause house would be more clean and tidy, i mean for me la. Cause i can wash bedsheet, curtains and clean the house more often while i am working from home. :D Also might eat lesser outside food.

I think you mean WFH ..

In my company, WFM = retrenchment (workforce management)

Is reno work considered essential?

One sector benefitting from this coming WFH order should be the shops selling laptops.

Today went SLS to get a laptop for my son who enrolled into TP. Really surprised that needed to queue at carpark entrance to get in, and the carpark was almost full when eventually got in. Quite a contrast to few weeks ago when only handful of cars observed. Then the shops were literally packed with people buying laptops! I managed to settled on one after walking around. The assistant shared that they have been busy since last week catering to the WFH crowd who started the frenzy, and today was unusually crowded. Really like in market buying fish haha.

Take care and keep sane

Safe ride
