that's because kids did not go school or childcare

driving them crazy ...

when school and childcare open and no kids at home

what parent dont want to WFH? can chill netflix and also piak piak during day ... not so tired ma ... may be TFR rise leh 😄

This also exposes something very grim. Means those jobs can actually be taken out of SG to a lower cost (salary) place. To cut cost, since WFH can be done, H need not be SG. Just move across the causeway can cut manpower cost by a third already.

Agree with this. Wfh means work is work and home is work. I also think best when standing up and drawing ideas on a whiteboard to a group.

Actual covid19 wfh quote:

It's one of my colleague's birthday today. We'd usually treat the person to lunch & celebrate, but unlikely to happen this year. That's some bonding opportunity lost....sigh

Obviously you have not had the pleasure of working with a country that has more than 32 holidays in a year.

And while there is a certain fear of jobs move to a remote country, there is an old saying.

After bitterness set in for the screw up quality of work provided over there, the sweetness of the labour cost is soon forgotten.

But during this WFH period, I believe the magic bullet of Car Lite can really be felt.

Also save time on ironing clothes.And package delivery now goes to the home instead of the office.

I am sure those whose office still have mails stop delivery guy have a happier time.

Now waiting for those science data to show that the earth ozone layer is healing. If it doesn't heal, that means there is other factors that is causing the earth ozone to deplete.

I also like logitech products. My wireless keyboard and mouse are from logitech.
