its a smart business move ma. they bring in their own brand instead of sourcing from supplier, it bring down their cost price by alot.

now they are building up the brand. in a few years time this brand would be popular among those ' burget tyres' category .

they could become supplier plus retailer, (not sure if they suppling to other tyres shop now )

see the mini hype even in MCF. i say their advertising department doing a good job

I see many cars with this tyre stickers on the rear screen.

That $10 off for every tyre customers buy

is the best marketing tactic I have seen in the tyre industry.

Its a stunning success.

we have to face it. ppl are lure to such gimmick

say A is selling at 400 per set, with 10buks off every tyres, total is $360.00

B is selling at $350.00 per set.

i bet most ppl would be more interested and take more look into A then B.

I also wanted to do something similar to my used cars.

Maybe change the number plate to add my company name.

But my company name too long so shorten it doesn't sound nice.

Would you want to drive a car bought from JAMESC CHEATS?

Or JAMESC SUCKS or have a JAMESC FARTS sticker on your car?

JAMESC Car Hire Exceptional Automotive Transport Services or short form. JAMESC CHEATS

JAMESC Suregood Used Car Key Services also known as JAMESC SUCKS

JAMESC Fragrance And Refresh Transformation Services or short form JAMESC FARTS

Haha. Everyone is lured by gimmicks. Every retailer marks up the price high and then give “good” discounts. Discounts can be in the form like mentioned above or via points, vouchers, credit card points etc.

I’m sure all of us have been “conned” at one point or another paying more for the same thing. In the end if the difference is not huge and you are happy paying for it, does it really matter? What’s life in the end, if one spends all his time scouring around for the best deals all the time.

I do know some will pick and buy from various supermarkets just for 10cents difference. If it makes one happier knowing that one has scored big time, then good for them. I would prefer to spend my time in other ways.

i give u 1 more case your MIL confirm suck for it.

now i got promotion for that same set of tyre suppose to selling at $360.00

but i put it this way. year end promotion : $600.00 slash slash slash, 30% off every set purchase  save up to $180.00 for every set of tyre purchase.

the key question do u save $180 when u make this purchase.

or do u spend $420 instead???

alot of ppl think the first😂

I really admire this marketing campaign.

I know marketing as I am the head of digital marketing for JTA Japan Tourist Association.

I myself have pioneered a few new marketing concepts.

One of my most fanous concepts is "Piggyback Marketing".

When you see a successful campaign and many people interested come and see

you divert them to your own products and services like going holiday in Hokkaido.

With some nice pix that make people's mouth water.

The trick is choosing the right pix
