Meat/seafood should be a viable environment for the virus to survive even when frozen. Thus it is possible some infected worker at the salmon farm passed on the virus when handling the fish. Likewise most of our frozen chicken and other meats come from Brazil, US etc, countries with plenty of cases. Hope there is some surveillance by MOH now with this new information from BJ. The virus found on chopping board and NOT salmon fish itself. It is stated on the article. Food safety is the responsiblity of Singapore Food Agency.
