Okay.

Done. 1 hour job.  I opted for normal gas instead of nitrogen! 🙂

Running on the new Yokohama ADVAN dB V552 now. 😙

IMHO.
Enjoy !
Take note it will take a while to break-in.
Yokohama India says < 80km/h for at least 100km.
So how is the comfort level so far ?   A bit on the harsh side?

I see. Okay. Got it.

Don't know! The siao Mechanic pumped 40psi on both 4 tyres whereas the CN7 spec. stated front 35, rear 31 for normal load and front 35, rear 35 for heavy load. He said no worries.

Tested just now at 80kmph on empty ECP section, turning steering wheel left. Right, centre. Pretty responsive and light, may be due to high 40 psi.

They are really quiet. I could hear the difference from the road noise! Quieter than the stock aging Hankook tyres for the obvious reason.

Tested braking. It is as good as normal.

Anyway, I will pump down the tyres to may be 38psi or even lower at 36psi scarifying the wheel turning responsiveness for more softer ride. 40psi is crazily high although it gives very responsive wheel turning / cornering but more bumpy and danger for the obvious reason.

Turning wheel at my car park produces zero sound now. 😙

IMHO.
When ambient/tyre temperature is hot, the pressure is higher.
My cold tyre pressure and operating  tyre pressure on a hot day,  about 4.4 PSI difference.
Best is to leave overnight and measure again the next morning.

Zero sound means got traction. 👍

I see! It's a super hot day today while I was testing the tyre just now!

Anyway, I pumped them down to Front 36psi and Rear 35psi for the tine being now to see if I'm okay with the softness/comfy ride.

If I still find it too hard the ride. I will pump them down further to Front 34, Rear 33.

Now u pump down,   when cold, the pressure will be below the recommended.   Need to take at least maybe 5 hours for the tyres to cool down to ambient.

I see. Okay, okay.

I will monitor it and adjust it accordingly. Thanks.

Anyway, just finished my first night driving on a relatively light traffic highway.

The V552 is really a low noise tyre as I could even hear my already quite-silent CN7's engine roaring when stepped on the gas pedal. (I muted all media sound) to hear how silent the V552 was).

A pretty impressive silent tyre indeed. 🙂

Also, since it was not much traffic on the highway. I did a few brake checks. The braking is more gentle and probably takes a few milliseconds longer than my previous stock tyre but it was a firm and controlled braking. Not an issue once one knows the braking behavior!

Okay! 3rd day after getting the new V552!

All the 4 new tyres pressurse have been stabilized at Front 35psi (As per CN7 spec.), and Rear 32psi (I set it to 1psi higher than recommended by CN7).

Just still don't get use to the braking behavior of the new tyres. It's a very firm, steady, total silent and controlled brake/stop unlike my previous old tyres which produced a short audible scratching sound right before the car comes to a complete brake/stop, being aging tyres. 😁

Cheers all! 🙂

Today, sent my CN7 for the 6 months periodic service and since I'm there. I opted to install the new OBU screen package.

Let's how it looks after getting my CN7 back in the afternoon.

Creating a right hand forward corner blindspot for me? Let me see later ....
