Result from my wheel alignment check on my CN7 now. This is with the new sets of 4 tyres that I had changed back in August 2024.

Bad, very bad or averagely bad?

your wheel alignment shop is not even using the specs for Avante CN, it's using Elantra AD. So can't comment on the measured numbers.

Oh I see. That's bad.

I will go back and ask a "few questions" then...

The mechanic explained to me that they looked at the measurement of the practical / tools that hooked up to the 4 wheels instead of using the on screen Elantra AD measurement.

So, he said it is accurate as far as the my CN7 wheel alightment is concerned.

Can that be accepted?

>>> Update on the above-mentioned.

The workshop came back to me with presented facts sheets from its logs (before and after) the alightment, in black and white to state that my CN7 wheel alightment was done properly and accurately based on the TOE result even though the onscreen model was based on 2016 AD model.

Good and fast service recovery indeed by this well known workshop.

What I mean is, without the specs for CN, they won't know if the measured/adjusted numbers are within factory specs.

The only thing you can do now is to drive and monitor. If the steering doesn't pull when holding it straight, then I suppose it's fine. Another thing to look out for is abnormal tyre wear which can be caused by excessive toe angle. As for camber, usually nothing much to adjust and based on your picture, it seems normal.

Hi. Anyone got forward safety error? Actually a bunch of lights lit up. EBP, blind spot safety and the car is extremely sluggish when the lights are up. It goes away after driving for a bit but it seems to happen a lot more now. My car is out of warranty so i went to a few workshops to scan for errors and they detected ECU errors from sensors. They told me it could be the ecu or wiring issue but cant confirm as they haven’t got time to check

Finally, I have decided to install the Ambient Lighting for my CN7 after driving for 6 months. It really makes the interior and driving so refreshing. Loving it! 🥰

I should have installed it earlier, right after I had gotten the CN7!  Haha! 😁

Welcome, bro! CN7 design is really bold and damn sporty! The one and only design in this world especially for our car segment!  Awesome choice! 🥰

Agreed! No car looks like CN7's legendary design! We are driving a legend! 😙 Let's not talk about affordibility but the 2024 Hybrid's toned down design has no pull factor to me! 🥶

I was quoted $280 for the Dashboard, 4 doors and 4 legs by a workshop. I'm not too sure whether it is expensive or reasonable.

Having said that. I'm very happy with the workshop manager/boss and the staff's friendliness and the installation process. Mine was completed about just under 2 hours by its 2 staffs.

There is a package include the 2-sides speaker lights but that will be too much lights and distraction as far as I'm concerned.

I will PM you the workshop name since it's not so nice to post it openly here.

Folks,

Currently on stock 16" Avante rims with new Yokohama ADVAN db v552 types with 35psi front and 33psi back.

I find my CN7 is a kind of "floating" or "very light" whatever you called it when doing relatively fast filtering, cornering and or U-Turning.

Do, you think upgrading to a 17" rims with the right type of tyres helps to reduce the above-mentioned "floating" in those circumstances?

OR... Avante is that "light" no matter what size of wheel?

Note that I was driving a 2015 Mazda 6 Executive which was a "heavy" car for 9 years.

Need a bigger spoiler or wing to increase downforce
