Partly depends on how tall the driver is.. shorter drivers would find it blocking more..

Okay. I'm 171cm tall and my seat is set at 5cm from its lowest position,

Sadly 16” don’t have much tyres to choose from. I am aiming Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 for next set of tyres change. It got good review.

I will stick to the stock 16" if I'm not gonna upgrade it to 17"!

A well known auto shop at Ubi has promo for 17" Toyo tyres + Rims set at $888 after trade-in!

this will depends on your car layout and also how high they place the screen. For my case the installer did it too high and I've to spend time to redo myself and readjust till I'm comfortable with the view. The screen I would say is relatively big. My advise is to find those installer where you can pinpoint where u want each item to be installed, rather than some major AD where u can only hand over the car and leave everything to them

Hmm....In that case! I have better don't go to Komoco for the installation! 😶🥶

I installed at Komoco. This person did a good job, the screen is at its lowest possible without hitting the dashboard. Im about 166cm tall, still can see properly.image.thumb.png.ec850c7dc09e1c599a76048a5ca9ebc9.png

Wow! That's awesome! You were lucky to have a good person at Komoco that day for you Hybrid! 🙂

Anyway, I have decided not to rush to install it! I will try to delay it to the very last day ! 😁

Looks like not many people or none who installed this shitty thing opt not to install the display screen? Like everyone is installing the screen.

Yep I guess so. I see some will just tilt the screen down and tilt up if need to see. Not a bad idea also.

Yup, a lot will say bulky, don't like, won't install but in the end most likely will install 😁. My advise is even if you are very skeptical, install first, if eventually really don't like just pay for it to be removed.

1) told me they don't do at driver's side, they will pass me the items and go another workshop to install and may have charges (this one I believe the sales advisor gave me wrong infor, till now no one call me after my 1 star feedback). Eventually i go ahead and installed at passenger's side since already made appointment.

2) OBU smacked near the middle of the passenger's side when they could put it nearer to the end where your foot will be.

3) Antenna and touchscreen installed not at the lowest point, in the end affecting my vision.

This is the reason why i advise find those workshop that u can be there physically and pinpoint to them exactly u want all the different parts to be installed. AD will have less flexibility in this.

doesn't really work this way, because the knob is behind, depending on the angle and installation point, car layout, it may be difficult to reach it. if u don't need to see then just don't install it, if not no point having the screen

The screen can be ‘adjusted’, still not so bad. 😅

How much to pay for removing the screen? Why not don’t install first, keep the screen, later then see if want to install or not, just pay to install? 😅

I thought even go to AD to install, they will ask you the location the devices can be install first and you tell them where exactly the location you the device to be installed, before they go ahead?

yes but areas like footwell is quite wide, install of pushing it in the corner they may smack it close to the middle for my case. Of course passenger footwell means on the left side, technically they can just put it anywhere on the left, it boils down to individual especially if you are particular about which exact point u want it to be.

Pricing will be up to individual workshop, think LTA don't control this but is one of the options. LTA just want to provide as much flexibility as possible due to so many hooha 😁

Anyway, after 2.5 months driving my CN7 with Esso 95.

Yesterday, with my fuel tank left with half of the 1/4 tank of 95. I pumped 98 and wow....I could feel the smoother engine roars, the acceleration, more power, quieter and thus overall a more conformable drive! 🙂
