But the avante now not going for cheap. I guess there’s demand still

Majority of current Avante sales are made up of the base model and mid range S model, and selling between $68K to $73K for base model and $74K to $79K for the S model (dependent on COE pricing).

Elite model did not sell many units.

Think people who buy korean car, the car and price must be vfm, so buying elite model might not be so vfm. Lol.

How you know there will be rebates? If I am not wrong, both previous Elantra and current Avante are both 0 VES. I used to own the previous Elantra. 50k COE Elantra elite at 100k plus.

I asked. Might have.

Waaa even with VES rebate still above 90k then it’s actually more expensive than Altis as Altis does not has rebate. I wonder what’s the new Avante OMV...

If the price is going to be 90k and above with VES rebate, likelihood the car wont move well in Singapore as it will make the depreciation higher than Japanese make made in Tom Yum land.

True that. Becos my SE told me likely will have VES rebate... but we’ll never know for sure till it’s confirmed.

Might not sound politically correct in a Korean thread but I rather go for the Civic. At least, demand and  resale value are guaranteed.

Still hoping for any resale value these days huh? Its paper value only.

Sneak preview coming up soon at Komoco.

But the key downside is the price ;  it's not going to be low Korean pricing - starting from above $90,000 at current COE level.

Priced very near Mazda 3 and Toyota Altis territory & more expensive than the Nissan Sylphy.

At such price, the new CN7 will not see the high volume sales that the current Avante enjoys and can expect dismay sales in the current economic downturn. The only saving grace would be  a high OMV (hopefully)  that would cushion the exponential depreciation.

The new CN7 is 3 cm longer, 2.5cm wider and 3cm lower in height than the   current Avante.

The current Avante's rear headroom is already very low due to its sloping roof. The new CN7 rear headoom will suffer badly.

If even the basic trim starts from $90k, maybe there are more other car make/model for people to consider at this price range. Since the new avante no longer vfm. Lol. Anyway, find this new avante looks like the civic, low sloping roof.

VES rebate does not result in savings as your PARF will be affected, like the Mitsubishi Attrage, Nissan Note and Perodua Bezza with  a dismay $2,500 PARF.

Saving on VES rebate is depending on whether AD give you or not.

7-10 yr old cars possibly paper value or abit more but newer Used Cars ie those below 7 yrs old, the resale value shld be much more than paper value.
