What's wrong with Made in India if the QC can match that from Korea? Toyota cars made in Thailand are also ok mah... after the initial Altis model had manufacturing hiccups (minor mainly), the subsequent ones were good...

the interior of the made in India Seltos is different from the Korean made ones. Even the kia sales pple acknowledged that it's not as good as the Cerato which is much cheaper. definitely priced way too high

The biggest giveaway is the turn indicator stalk on the RIGHT  just like Japs cars.

The rest of the Hyundai and Kia we have are on the left.

Yes very plasticky cabin esp the doors. Feels more like a Maruti Suzuki Vitara Bezza than what Kia can offer these days

But... in India, this is considered a lux car liao… How many locals can afford this?

Exterior looks nicer than the Venue... the Venue looks a bit odd with that squarish DRL...

Find the interior and exterior both slightly better. Venue is 85 to 90k listed. Seltos is 110k is it? Confirmed by ad? Quite a substantial difference

Doesn’t matter where it’s made from-considering the specs that comes with it...lotsa choices can be had for $116K.

$115K is for the higher specs GT line. The OMV is high at around $28K as being told. There are indeed plenty of features.

They will bring in the lower specs variants at the later stage. Btw, the one display at the Motorshow is not the GT line. Its just a 1.6L NA version. I noticed that when I open up the bonnet to look at the engine bay. Further confirmed by the SE who served us.

The only thing I couldn't live with was the hand brake. A car at this price point with a hand brake? And I am so used to my current ride with the auto hold function.

When I was at the Motorshow viewing the actual car, I felt the interior quality is really quite plasticky and design looks rather cheap. Even the lower cost end Stonic has a more pleasant interior with better quality. 115k can get you a Karoq or even a PI GLA180.

But then again to each his own.
