several  of my friends and neighbors who own 7 series and S class  have  changed their cars to either 5 and  E class after their 7 and S due for scrap, so far none of them change back to new 7 or S class, my guess is their age is  catching up and they have been there and done it, there is no longer motivations for them to spend so much money on new 7 and S class , or their spending priority have changed.

The ones who drive those... Towkay.

If u drive yourself, its easier to park, costs less, also got same badge. More nimble relatively. No brainer lah.

Unless u have driver ferrying you around and got long wheel base for you to shake your leg. Even normal mid size sedan u can still cross leg (albeit not much space after that) ... Haha

Been that done that, Yolo. I am good to move on.

Also I realize a large sedan comfort is not on the driver but the passengers. Going back mid size sedan is indeed my next preference. So bro CT3833 has kind of nail it.

bro , its the economy i tell u, times are really bad for big company.

no bosses would downgrade from S-E or 7-5. if they can maintain it. its on totally different level.

These are the surprisingly modest car choices of the world's top tech billionaires....maybe richer than some sg towkay I think...

Simple reason. They are not car fans.

Mark Zuckerberg reportedly purchased a Pagani Huayra in 2014, although he has also owned an Acura TSX, Honda Fit, and Volkswagen Golf GTI. Elon Musk has not passion for Automobiles, not sure..

But it seems like car is not the ultimate status symbol for some billionaires.....

a very good example here. Why why why lose the 60k PARF to LTA?

Bcos they usually have common reasons - low usage, too sayang to scrap, huge saving compared to new car of same class. When come to selling, also the same few reasons - sick of driving the same car, problems start to come and want to avoid costly repair, or rising roadtax.

Yes maybe you can consider a Sorento if you are considering to change to another mid sized SUV.

Love it 😍 but over 8k annual target

A Lexus RX350 is too good to send to the scrap yard.

It is made with so much love and quality materials.

Its has such a low mileage and in very good condition.

Don't let it die.

Save its life and renew.

A Lexus is not just for Christmas its for life.

Tough tough 😆

Actually i know where you are coming from, if you think about the money, an Alhard already cost you about 170k, plus new lexus would set you  back by 200+ k, that means you write off a good 400k over 10 years, this is damn bloody painful financial decision.  And that is why i decided on a cheapo decision.

Neutral Newbie

The road tax is a killer. Why not consider 10y/o e class. Around 80k with coe. Power & prestige quite similar.
