Astonishing beauty of north China after snow. White, white everywhere. Now we have snow, but where is Princess Snowwhite:-)

Beijing rarely snow nowadays.

That's true. Snowing needs two important factors: low temperature and enough vapor in the air. Beijing's air is too dry most of the time. And, being such a big city, it has urban heat island effect. Snow and ice may have melted before falling to the ground.

Most of the time, Beijing weather is btw 1 - 3 deg. There are a lot of dirty snow
