IMHO, if you are moving from the Accent, it's a nice upgrade for not much more.

The Vios isn't bad too, with the safety features and all, and the Mazda 3 is nice too, but it's now in a whole new price bracket...

The Vios is not bad??? Try the Vios CVT vs city CVT and there is a vast difference.. Admit Mzd3 is nice but money also nice to me.. hehe..

Spoke to a rep yesterday, and they said the incoming City will re-use the same 1.5l engine 😞

Boo.... and two airbags...

the same 1.5L engine is still fine by me. But 2 airbags??!! Seriously? Specs and features are out already?

Was looking forward to test-drive the 1.0T. Looks like no need waste time now

Nope

just asked my regular man.. these two points are what concerns me.

Walked over to Hyundai and we bought the basic Elantra instead

Love it

Elantra was for a buddy. He’s happy with it. Low cost and depreciation.

The hip point is higher for the City but too bad about the rest ..

You ask PI to bring in its call Honda Grace in Japan, it come with Honda sensing by default. Kay motor confirm remove those safety features and sell more expensive.

Just like our Honda Civic still 2019 variant without Honda Sensing that even Malaysia 2019 civic come with it on their Turbo variant, it’s not even the latest 2020 facelift edition that come with default with Honda Sensing like Japan.

Thai people are crazy 😁 anyway 0-100 in around 9s. Pretty respectable👍👍

Hard to believe this is a Honda engine.

The growl is so sterile.

Do you mean the Vios CVT is bad, or the Dream Earth CVT is just well-designed?

My good friend drives the Civic 1.5T and has no issues with the CVT.

Agreed that 6 airbags should be standard across all vehicles. If City comes with 1l turbo + 6 airbags, it would be perfect for young families getting their first cars.

Even the 1.6l Civic doesn't come with 6 airbags which is so crappy (this coming from a longtime Honda supporter).

How does this promotion work?  Since if I purchased the car before the bidding of COE, will the price change after the bid? Just asking out of curiosity :D that's why I am not asking the SE.

Seems like Kah is selling u the car without COE so price is fixed once u book but I’m not sure if they expect u to bid your own COE or they will bid for u subject to u paying $x additionally.

U hv no choice but to call SE to find out about the COE part of the deal before u can conclude if it’s worth it or not in totality. City is not exactly cheap if it’s above $80k in my opinion.

We did call up an SE after seeing ad on 60k for Civic 1.6. Cannot bid own COE, must go by their entire package, they bid for you. Was quoted 30k for COE, so end up still same as pre-COVID prices. I feel it's a gimmick.

On a side note, any more info as to when the new City will arrive here?

Supposed to be second half of this year from what I heard from the SE during the car fair in Jan this year.

But cost wise I dunno cos the SE say new models always cost a lot.  Dunno if it's a sales tactic or  not.
