Also depends on location of where u keep it.

The best way is to charge lithium batteries in an open area away from an combustible items or in a combustion proof container.

yes that's why people started charging PMD in void deck and corridor instead of living room [:p]

Surprisingly  the recent  check by MOM. They didnt bother about the capabilities of my fire extinguisher.  They only  check  the date.

Not sure if those officers themself update  on these technical stuff. My immediate  neighbour brought  a escooter  2 month  back. And his worker  stay at the work place.

This type  of thing cannot leave it to chance 1

Nowadays even those slim powerbanks are using lithium polymer packs. Laptops use lithium ion too. Generally the worse I have seen is that these batteries swell up, splitting the casing, when it has up lorry. No flames involved. And usually before going to up lorry, there will be warning signs like unable to charge to full, lessened capacity etc. We have to be alert to that.

Mobile phones also contains lithium battery. So fast forgot about Samsung Note combustion hp???

Like that no more hp for everyone.

I think that is an isolated case and the manufacturer responded fast. Even other brands hp ever caught fire too. PMDs fires are so frequent. They burnt down flats and caused death.
