Big brother? The RS version or the Superb Combi?

If comparing the previous Octavia and Superb, the Superb interior is much better. More classy looking with a decent engine. Probably can get at 137-139k with discounts. Also, seems like the new Octavia has shifted all the buttons to be on the tablet/HU and no physical buttons for air con etc. Personally, I still prefer to have physical buttons or knobs. Imagine your tablet/HU fail and you drive back to SCS without being able to turn on the air con...

likewise for me.. the traditional knob is still better and safer in my opinion.. when i drive i do tune radio, vol etc..

one of the reason i bought the Superb is it does not have the tombstone like tablet on the dashboard..

Unfortunately going forward, knobs and physical buttons will be a thing of the past.. personally i also prefer the physical touch, hopefully they can have a combination of both.

Now all excited. Once pricelist for new octavia come out, sure sian.....

Last time when COE was low and Skoda prices were attractive, people kept asking but Skoda Singapore got no intention to bring in. Now COE high, they finally brought in the combi version. Bad timing really.

@Soya can indent I was told. Prices for vRS sedan is $17x.

Ouches 😅

less likelihood  of cs3 owners upgrading to that price range..

I sense the Hyundai i30 fastback N will be a viable alternative at 280bhp if it goes under 160k

The combi is 14k more. At 123k for the Octavia, makes it a much better deal than the scala.
