Haha, everyone is going to fold the third row down most of the time one, else the boot space is just that tiny strip.

Unfortunately, the only 5-seater variant is likely to be the GLB 35.

Fold one can so become 6 seater with pram or barang2

I did a check with my SE - they apparently have only been told that the car will be here in Oct, with no indication of the lines/models yet.

I guess maybe we can use what Malaysia has as a gauge in the meantime? Their models/prices are out already.

GLB 200: RM269,118,

GLB 250: RM318,009

hope c&c brings in the 250

While Malaysia have GLB200 Progressive, GLB250 AMG Line & GLB35 AMG (brought in by C&C), we have these (from C&C)... really pathetic to max. :beaten::ouch-it-hurts:

Given the <$5K difference between cat A & cat B COE, the GLB180 serve no purpose other than maximizing profits for the AD (by further marking up the price of GLB200).

Went PI show room kaypoh. Kind of smallish in dimension but its not suppose to be big anyway . The dashboard material is pretty good. Idling is smooth and cannot tell its a 3 cylinder unit.

Interior space is OK but still dimension don't lie, it's a bit narrow abreast.

Another blemish for me it's overloaded with aluminium insert. Kind of overkill.

Price wise, I would go for the sorento.

Unless one is not used to driving size of sorento, then the star badge is an alternative.

The 1.3l engine is 4 cylinder design. Hence the idling is smooth

To know noisy anot need to push the accelerator in the road. See whether 1.3L is sufficient to pull this SUV

129hp to pull almost 1.6ton kerb weight? Hahahahaha. Then add bui bui family of 500kg for 5+2, will be 2.1ton! I think I can run faster......

The one you viewed is GLB200 AMG Line Premium I suppose, at least it has a decent 10.25" screen. The entry AMG Line cheapen the car further with a smallish 7.0" screen (both the speedometer and entertainment screen).

BTW, the GLB200 is a 4 cylinder unit (1,332cc, 163HP / 250Nm), which shall be the same for GLB180 (130HP / 200Nm). The one to go for is GLB250 (1,991cc, 224HP / 350Nm), nothing less.

If I were to based on what Indonesia have, Progressive = 'Sport' trim + 'AMG Line Premium' screen & keyless Go package.

You can't compare to a full size SUV such as Sorento for sure. For a compact SUV point of view, interior space for the GLB can be considered above average liao.

As for the aluminum insert, I don't disagree with you, but some will say that is AMG line standard affair.
