I think apart from the so called dark corner ramp up , our phones are a simple example , be it gooooogle tracking us or even Iphones or Facebook too... Isn't this form of digitization the same too ...... of course the govt has to keep tabs/intelligence on terror cells but others will say otherwise

I am sure if you enters into any of the modern office towers in Singapore today, you are already in their CCTV recording whether you are in the lobby, lifts, stairs, etc. 

 

How many of the management actually retrieve or look at these recordings? These are basically only recalled when they encountered incidents and need to track. 

 

Everyone is concerned with security and yet we are hearing many comments on privacy. So we need another 911 before people starts to believe we need more CCTV.
