BenTong Turbocharged July 24, 2019 Share July 24, 2019 (edited) Btw don't waste money going down the legal route, it is not worth it the lawyers enjoy your misfortune instead the Fragrance boss also went the legal route but I guess he has money and time to spare I also get a feeling that your SA is part of the issue. Sometimes a good SA can really work magic for you behind the scenes compared to you banging the table His SA the SA I think. Who sold a lemon.. good of the bro to share his story.. yes some will say haiya .. but how many of tus tulan keep quiet Jiak yourself coz no face share such stories. To this AD goes to show the relationship they have with their principal, customers, staff.. then I heard lumor the same fellow run line tree klub raguna etc.. same bo chap ness towardness Edited July 24, 2019 by BenTong
Beanoyip Turbocharged July 24, 2019 Share July 24, 2019 (edited) I haven't finished reading the whole thing, but just on the mirror fogging up issue.. doesn't a Porker have a demisting feature on the wing mirrors??? Edit: just finished reading, the heating element should work in all conditions.. After the causing so much pain, did you consider scrapping the car and getting another which does not cause you so much headache? Sdf4786k Twincharged July 24, 2019 Share July 24, 2019 I dont know if their mechanics are really so poorly skill up to perform such problem isolation, or they really have a serious service attitude problem, letting alone the amount of downtime everytime the car has to be left in the workshop. This is not acceptable considering this being a premium brand. I dont know how they deal with those who drive those above half a MIL dollar models, or how easily to deal with the wealthy people, I am sure not all of them are as kind and patience as TS is.Wonder why Porsche regional office have not step in.. Beanoyip Turbocharged July 25, 2019 Share July 25, 2019 Hi Sp4wn. Read everything you typed. So sorry you had to go through all those troubles. I’m a Macan owner myself second batch 2014 and this year the new 2019 MY. I’m appalled by how this was handled. The Stuttgart I know would have changed the whole mirror no questions asked. The customer service I had with them is a total 180 of yours. Hope they will resolve this matter and get to the bottom of this. Maybe you should help him bring his car down and ask them to fix it..

Theoldjaffa Hypersonic July 25, 2019 Share July 25, 2019 ok now i get why you said you prefer to do things yourself ... comprehension a bit lacking but thats ok ... i can see why you'd be the only person ive ever heard of willing to drop 4-5 figures to repair something under warranty ... also, considering they couldnt fix the aircon the first 2 times, nor did they catch the coolant leak the first time (even when explicitly told so), then i can only bring a horse to water ... not to mention that they let slip they, in reality, didnt know how to fix it, thereby acknowledging there was indeed a problem ... (unless this part of your comprehension has failed too) mind if i ask what your issue was about? It’s prudent that you went back to tranvestitekars for all issues since ur car is under warranty and also to prevent finger pointing. Having a single neck to choke is better than choking multiple ones, not that having to choke them is a good sign anyway. That said, sorry to read about that and also the revelations about transvestitekars in general. OT abit.. My Wife drives a mini, one fine Sunday without any warning the kar couldn't start and all the xmas lights came on. Kar was 2 years 8 months old only. Called Tek service, they sent some technician onsite to my place in short notice. But the guy is from BMW. Spent 30 mins in the car, running diagnostics... Suspect alternator leak. He said he had to call a tow truck to tow it back. No replacement courtesy kar given. The next day, Mini SA called. It's just a freaking battery flat and just changed the battery. In my mind I already knew it's a flat batt but LL I had to go thru "proper procedures" of troubleshooting since the kar is still under warranty and while I could have bought a batt from those mobile guys..why should I pay when I can get it settled FOC under my entitlement? Guess I was in the same situation as you although not as major. It's not about getting it "easily resolved" by paying money to others. Anyway hope your sheet is kleared soon and don't get another VAG kar in future.

Mkl22 Supersonic July 25, 2019 Share July 25, 2019 Their so called diagnostics is just running some software again and again without using common sense. If diagnostics say OK, your car cannot start they will still tell you it's normal. aiyah cannot blame.... those techs with brains will not stay with a AD. what do you expect from the pool who are willing to join them?
Mercury1 Turbocharged July 25, 2019 Share July 25, 2019 safer to just buy a spare car lah, preferably Toyota hehe Next time those who want to buy Porsche need to set aside additional 100k for lawyer fees and travel expenses.

I dont know how they deal with those who drive those above half a MIL dollar models, or how easily to deal with the wealthy people, I am sure not all of them are as kind and patience as TS is. so now that the aircon has a nasty smell (smells like a rat died inside) and last week i informed them, only got a response yesterday that they can take in the car, but no loaner car. i was like really, after 2 repairs you guys couldnt get it right, you need my car for another week or two at the minimum, and what, you expect me to take grab everywhere (the GM didnt even bother reply, he just said out of goodwill, he will try to get a loaner". so when you get a Stuttgart Auto 5 year warranty, a lot of things are at their mercy. Warranty doesnt count for shit and you need to depend on "goodwill" of the company. Says alot for potential macan buyers out there. the 5 year warranty does not buy peace of mind! for reference when i complained about the aircon being damn smelly, they 1. changed the filter first (problem came back almost immediately) 2. they then dismantled more of the car and said (and i quote) "our workshop concluded that the moldy smell from the car when aircon is on comes from the aircon evaporator coil" (this entire process took 2 weeks to order the part and a further 3-4 day installation 3. we are back at square one since the entire problem is back again yet instead of a warranty claim, it is goodwill that I need (and probably a very long prayer and exorcism for whatever is living in the car) (this is what they sent me when they said they needed so much time, cos they needed to replace the part labelled '1' (which appears to consist of further sub parts) and yet, here i am, awaiting the third repair ... Wonder why Porsche regional office have not step in.. Usually they response quite timely to hnw individual complaints porsche HQ said this is an issue for posche s.e.a to handle porsche s.e.a said this is a humidity issue, and i should wind down the windows and wipe the mirrors when possible ... the problem here is: 1. stuttgart auto said, either im not seeing things right, or that the iPhone cant capture the problem clear 2. porsche s.e.a said, its a humidity / weather issue (later echoed by SA) 3. SA own staff said its a documented problem, but too few cars experienced it, so i can suck thumb, cos they dont know how to fix so for 1 problem, 3 different answer. makes you wonder ...

(to add on, my father and sister are very satisfied with their cars .. so they have that going for them ... lucky them ...) Beehive3783 Turbocharged July 25, 2019 Share July 25, 2019 I think you should go through your warranty booklet again and see what items are covered under warranty. Most wear and tear items (like your windows unable to wind up, coolant reservoir tank) are only covered for a year if under other brands. too big of a loss lah. in fact i made them an offer, i didnt even ask for 100% money back even though lemon law could have been used earlier on (based on what their own staff gave b&w) .. i told them, ill take $1/km driven (so far abt 36 or 36k km). minus from my cost becomes abt $250k, for all the troubles you guys have given me, and still not able to solve the problem. they did counter offer, but much much lower. (based on trade in value i assume only plus a bit more). but nowhere close to my number, else i may have accepted and move on. im also reasonable, but i guess they really want me as a customer. bring outside then got problem. they will void the warranty.
