seems like the q3 and q3 sportback are out of stock for the next 6 months. Chip shortage or this model is not selling well?

Went to check out the car and was told no stock.  But SE just updated that they are going to bring in a 2.0L Quattro variant.  Sounds interesting....but I think no test-drive car yet.

Hopefully it’s the 245 with conti turbo n not the lame IHI turbo

Dont think it’s the 245hp version.  Didn’t realise there are so many various state of tune…. This is even lower than the A6 which is 190hp.  But PA always have stage 1 upgrade and warranty kept intact so I think it’s probably fine for most buyers.  I tried the.1.4l and finds it quite alright so it does not hurt to have the 2.0L power plant.

As long as u have a bedak engine or ea888.3b , u are limited to probably 35 bhp max as it’s on lean burn tech .. more importantly, how much torque u getting on stage 1. 
 

once u chip up that’s the end of your mod .. unless u undo the whole .3b 

the latest ea 888.evo gives a better power ration than the ea888.3 but it’s only Single injector
