UK has a part to blame for the chaos now because the HK lease to UK was aquired through opium cultivated in India and the barrel of guns and conans. Throughout the history of HK under british rule, there was never any full universal suffrage.Governors were appointed by London. Hong Kong prosper because of the benefit of having China as hinderland. The past Bristish Governors never cared about democracy or welfare of the Hong Kong people. Nothing was done on the housing issues etc.

And when it was time to handover to China, governor Chris Patten then talked about full universal suffrage. Regardless of the type of government in China, Communits or Capitalist, Hong Kong is part of China and that is a fact and will never change. Hong Kong can have their own local elections but the Chief Executive can be decided by Beijing as she wishes. (Same as all Governors under British colonial rule were decided by London). There is no other way.

The people of Hong Kong should concentrate on their local problems like housing, infrastructure and working with the Chinese Government. In another 20 odd years, the 50 years of one country, two system will be over and Hong Kong will be just another city in the Pearl Delta.

Whether it will be a city like Shanghai, or Jarkarta, its up to the Hong Kong people to decide the next 20 odd years. For the last 5 months, the behaviour of the protestors will probably make Hong Kong a slump when China officially have full control of the city.

In short... The HKGers consumed too much opium when they were colonised and are still hooked on it... Even when the opium sellers leave, they are still addicted to it and want them to come back to feed them more opium. 🤡

A capitalist government (US of A) is warning a for-profit corporation (Blizzard) for making money legally...

Their definition of "freedom" is very selectively applied if I may opine.

😄....Mr. Marco Rubio United States Senator.  Activision is US's company https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activision ,like NBA . It is their US home affair after all.  🤣... who here is DK enough to interfere US home affair...

Similarly, like recently people are trying so hard teaching kids about violence is bad, don't do it. Own home affair also.

The guy is probably either very lucky or very smart. 

Taiwan oso dun want him back based on his voluntary surrender.

Politics ding ding dong dong may make him a free man or in jail for indefinite holding period till paperwork sorted out.

Guess because no extradition laws in place for HK to do so.

Obviously ROC considers Taiwan as theirs and HK a SAR, all one big unhappy family. No need extradition laws needed. Suka arrest just whisk them over quietly. ROC been there done it and what's to stop them.

No need talk about CL or blame her. She is a chess piece. She blurr or clueless about toilet paper, someone took the opportunity to hasten HK's return to Motherland.

A bro here reminded us that the one who first booted and kept pushing it thru, the passing of extradition laws is a PRO-DEMOCRACY MP. When backside kena fire, he switched pattern and took the side of protesters like it was nothing to do with him.

Me think HK should just let the murderer take a plane to Taiwan like a normal tourist on a normal commercial flight.

Then up to Taiwan govt to arrest him anot at Taiwan airport. No longer HK's business since no jurisdiction to charge him with murder committed on Taiwan soil.

Just treat it as a criminal case. Everything also must bring in politics. Really no brains.

All these refers to ONLY HKers or HK citizens? Cos walls of text in links and most legal jargon that i will need alot of time to untangle the meaning of legal language used.

In any case, if the murderer's tourist visa expired liao plus he completed his money laundering jail term, he must be deported back to his own country right?

No need send me links to answer this. Just yes or no. If grey area then never mind. 😂

I feel that justice for 2 victims must not be a football. Kick here there to suit political agenda. How its kicked, they wont come back to life. Thats why its taken so lightly, conveniently and carelessly.

I hope the murderer is punished for his crimes regardless.

When the suspect is released, deport him to?
