When I was there couple of months back , there was considerably less queue for famous places like Kam goose.  At the same time I think with less business, the ingredients may not be as fresh, or  the chefs  may have change some SOP to cater to smaller volume, or maybe is because I am CHinese, but the food quality seems to have dropped.

Comfirmed....Watch Shop's Boss told my Friend,hardly any Chinese came in,other Countries Tourists also dropped,local is in Recession...sometime never sell a Watch in a Week..

Student recently died from falling from height.

Anybody can confirm student is a protestor? Nobody really knows but some say he was NOT a protestor but just at the wrong place and wrong time. When he heard firing of tear gas, he ran and what happens after everyone knows by now.

 

Unfortunately, many here missed the forest for the trees. Many blame the police for the firing tear gas and etc. We need to identify the root cause. In the first place, if there was NO illegal protests, there would not be police around. Hence, if there was no illegal protest held, police would not had fired tear gas. Hence, the student would not have fallen from height leading to his demise.

Root root cause.

If the police had taken tougher measures in june/july, the situation would not be so out of control even now.  If had been controlled then, there would be no tear gas action and no student dead....

Not sure who push him but rioters played a part for causing road block and end up ambulance cannot go through and ambulance personnel had to go down and run to attend him. 

 

Maybe if he was rescued earlier things might be different

Maybe if he wasn't there, or not born yet or not be pushed over as some allegations, he could have become a dad in a few years time.

Hopefully there are none who secretly harbour thoughts of being superman or wonder woman flying like a plane or a bird.

Youth is the age of invincibility and unfortunately folly as well.

They will blame the HKPF and govt for his death and everything not going their way. 

Your guess is as good as mine if the fall from high student could be saved had the ambulance reached him earlier instead of being blocked by those idiots who barricaded the roads. That student may have died instantly for all we know or dun know.

it could had made the situation worse

 

 

 

following your trend of rational, if there was no violent protest, the police dont even need to react.

 

peaceful protest had always been peaceful
