Was curious about their bbq, tried this bbq chicken with sticky rice 210bahts, actually not bad to go with their caramel sweet sauce.

what happened in BKK?

i'm heading up to North Thai soon

i guess due to the holiday period, its actually very very crowded..

we tried to do a count down at iconsiam but we were stuck at the exit of the train station.

The jam continue all the way till ferry..

end up, we head back to hotel and had to wait 45mins for grab..

lesson learnt, do not go BKK on holiday period. 😑

North thai? like chang rai?

ah yeah that's probably the same situation in most major cities

some people do enjoy such holiday crowds but not me. One time in Jakarta, I had to wait two hours to get a taxi from a mall past midnight on 31st Dec (it was pre-GOJEK/Grab days). I had turned down my friend's offer of a ride home as their house was in the opposite direction of mine.

North Thai - yes, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son and then if time permits, Chiang Rai. Been going there for the past few winters. Not spending much time in the cities though. Heading to the countryside.
