1k package is ok if the product/service/after sale is worth the money. Some are offering 24 or 60 months warranty. True be told I don't know how does it work such as under what circumstances will the warranty activated?

Thanks for the ideas. I am still scouting around.

Thanks. I have decided to try out at T42.

Not sure anyone notice it but the rear fog lamp is only fitted at the driver's side. Is it possible to fix the fog lamp bulb on the other side as well on our own?

1st activation of collision avoidance. A trailer was merging from the filter lane into the left most lane while I was along the 2nd left lane. The car brake a little by itself, I think less than a second. My assessment is that collision was not imminent actually but good to have such safety feature.

Speaking as a Volvo user, a S60, the car has been extremely unreliable.

My car in the 4th year, had a major engine breakdown and needed replacement. Before that, there are oil leaks, and changes of gaskets etc.

After the engine was replaced, immediately, the clutch totally failed and needed total replacement.

And shortly after, the gearbox failed and needed total replacement, all within a short 1.5 years!

And its totally painful liaising with Volvo Workshop on all these.

Hi any good SE contact to recommend? The XC40 looks really nice! Thanks

Same here - appreciate if anyone can provide a good recommendation on the SE - can PM me on that? Thanks!

Went to Wearnes today but the SE was super bo-chap and shown very limited knowledge on the car.

By the way, did anyone managed to indent XC40 and added 360 camera, Blind Spot etc?

Still felt it was a pity that some of these really good features are not made available in Singapore

Thanks!

When I collected my wife's V40, I specifically asked the SE NOT to wash or wax the car. Imagine my wife's shock when she saw the car when we collected it. She said... Errrrr... Buy 2nd hand also not like that one.. Haaa.

Anyway, my instructions was so that I could first wash the car myself by hand and then 3 coats of PIKA PIKA Rain which I brought from Tokyo.

The result has been amazing until now, 1.5 yrs and still shine like crazy. Bird lausai also no problem. Total cost... Usd 80.

PM me if you want the link to Pika Pika. I am not selling, BTW.

Our momentum have. Indented. First batch can spec whatever option you want. Ours option with piano sun roof, blis, 360 cam, adapter cruise control and pilot assist. NOw got indent fee.

I think early batch of RD also have. RD had everything spec ed in.

Funny thing is even when I want to pay to indent - SE was not keen and say cannot guaranteed when the car can be delivered.

I love the car but honestly the SE does matter - I will either consider going to another SE or just look at X3 or GLC next......

looks like the First batch does got all the advantage - too bad I'm too late for that LOL

U buy now cheaper den first batch mah

Haha, that might be true.

But the road show offered price a couple of weeks ago were better than what I got today.

Will do a bit more due dilligence before deciding next week.....
