Thank you Not sure if there is a better or more direct way. But one possible way to do it is to get the original VRN retained. When the VRN is retained, a new VRN will be issued to this vehicle. If the motor dealer is authorised as an Electronic Service Agent, you only need to pay $100. Otherwise quite costly. https://www.onemotoring.com.sg/content/onemotoring/home/selling-deregistering/retain-replace-vrn.html#fee_you_pay

Unless for NEW cars registration only. Either way u retain pay 1300 and register on NEW vehicle and get 1200 back. LPPL thingy Walk into LTA and get a new assigned number pay 1300 and done.

sHy3r 4th Gear May 22, 2019 Share May 22, 2019 The previous owner didnt retain carplate? Old plate not good meh? The new assigned plate might not be nice either wor... If u wanna change plate for a used car, it’s gonna be costly... no point give LTA that $. ↡ Advertisement
