Ya, a lot of times these close calls are preventing just mere luck. But this one the driver really cannot estimate the gap and his cars capabilities. Hope his license get yanked give him time to reflect.

The cerato driver thought his driving skill very good that can cut into the lane at such narrow gap. Actually i always see many such drivers do such stunts, cutting between car at narrow gap, sometimes even on high speed. These people if want to get into accident by all means, but dont get other people into trouble as well.

Believe me you could be surprised to see some people are totally oblivion to their surrounding, like forking driving at speed/below limit with entire road empty ahead (empty till you don't see anything in sight). Then some of em chitchatting like they just meet after 100 years of separation, like come-on just forking get out of the way and let other cross. It is not like i like speeding but a lorry driving at 70 on 2nd lane and person in front matching lorry speed blocking everyone, that make false congestion all the way and people thinks the traffic is jam or something but are unaware some prick is holding entire lane.

Last night on way home, Tanjong Pagar area, 2 women walked off pavement and crossed the road WITHOUT checking for traffic, I was just 4-5 metres away about 40 km/h. HONKED the hell out of them. They jumped in shock and stood frozen. Want to post video but have to take time to figure out how to extract from car cam.

They were trying to pull her out or pull the car out?

Later 'accidentally' pull off her tank top how ahh?

One day i was like coming out from small road in yellow box, saw left then saw right and then left again then proceed to turn right and all of sudden saw this guy in my column A blind spot. Applied brakes and scold him as pedestrian crossing light was 10 steps away, but he gave no fark and walked away (gave me farking scare of life).

Came across this accident in the morning, I'm guessing under steer?

https://youtu.be/0taGysg_sZ8

i am quite sure it is caused by speeding , not under steer. This is South  Bouna Vista, the most windy road in SGP, any speeding would run into trouble.

Problem with people here is, they take speed limit as joke. On extreme turns they still don't wanted to slow down, there are some turn which want you to slow down from 80 to 40 and it really need that much slow down but some stupid farks still want to push to 60 and want to stick to right while turning left on extreme bend. Like someone else said, i also suspect it is case of speeding but how to tell unless they extract video footage from car.

People never learn... Darwin award for the jaywalker

There used to be an overhead bridge there but was destroyed by an excavator on a lorry that rammed into it. That was 2 years ago. The LTA just laid the bridge structure a few days back but looks like still far from completion. Edited by Count_duku
