Guys. A check on this incident

 

 

I was on CTE trying to overtake and the red taxi behind refused. So he sped up and our mirrors clipped.

 

No damage except his mirror got closed and he had to wind down and open it.

 

Does this constitute an accident that needs reporting? My opinion is no.

 

Happened to me before. Mirrors clipped but it happened too fast for me to note the license plate of the other car. The car that hit me also did not stop to check his/her mirror. 

 

So I made a police report to safeguard myself in case the other party accused me of hit and run. But I did not make a report to my insurer as there was no physical damage to my side mirror.

I encountered the same situation before. Went home download video, intending to submit to TP. Alas, my lousy cam (then) coupled with the zoom zoom lorry, cannot capture plate clearly

Actually she never learned, after the bloody car had dashed through, she should have looked at her right to ensure no more car was coming her way from the right, but she did not. Instead, she kept staring at that idiot white car, which was the wrong thing to do. Edited March 11, 2019 by Ct3833

i believe we have witness many cases when shits happen or a near miss

the person involved sometime stunned and dont know what to do ... still processing “wtf” ...

That must be really close to have side mirrors of both cars in contact.

to be able to drive so closely to fold the mirror yet being able to avoid scratching the car should be F1 driving level already.
