Singapore Reckless Drivers part VII

We can't use their country for comparison our roads here are so much busier and smaller hence the dynamics are different.

One example is when I'm turning into the small road from the main road (Dunearn Road) with a string cars literally just behind AMDK joggers will always just chiong thru from pavement to cross the small road even when they see a car turning in, when I brake to let him pass with my car sticking out all the cars behind get held up cause of one entitled AMDK. Needless to say if I kanna rear ended I'm sure he will just run away.

Anyway when they come to Singapore they should follow they way the locals do things for their own safety, why should we say they blameless cause they want to do things their way as per their own country. That's why so we many of such entitled cyclist as well.

Actually I wonder if using the hand to slam the bonnet is supposed to be an offensive i.e. a fark-you to the driver, or a defensive reaction machiam they got super strength to stop a moving car with their bare hands.

Frankly, if your bonnet can get damaged by a palm slam, your ride is real tin can. But as mentioned, we are very protective of our expensive cars, so a mere slap on the bonnet will easily trigger some nastiness.

Actually I think the bonnet is quite fragile, you know nowadays all the safety crumple zone etc.

I was told when closing the bonnet, let it auto shut fully by dropping it from a short height. Don't gently let it down, then at the last part use your palm to press down to shut it completely.

I feel in SG, most people who are normally calm and peaceful will just show middle finger or shout at each other. We don't really like violence. Just need to do something to let it out for a few seconds and move on.

I am not sure if this deserving guy is from new Zealand. But I hvae to go San Francisco every year because of work, now I see the cyclists there also like shit, they speed down the slopes without caring about people and cars , I personally saw bicycle accidents and I saw cyclists arguing with drivers, banging car bonnet and all the AMDK patterns.

In US really stupid to go bang other's car.  They may be packing a gun under their seat.  Someone I knew years ago had a gun put to his head for honking the car in front at Mac Donald drive thru.

About 4 plus years back I drove into Ngee Ann City and this AMDK Zha Bor in just dashed out of nowhere and ended up right in front of my car, I ebraked and she used her hand to slam my bonnet. I wound down the window and smiled at her and politely asked her to come over while still smiling happily.

She was curious I think so she started storming over, then as she got closer i  motioned for her to come closer to the window, and cos she dumb blonde she tilted her head towards my window. That's when I stuck my head out slightly and shouted " KAO PEI AH"  into her right ear at the top of my voice and quickly drove off.

She stood there stunned like vegetable for like a few seconds  [;)]  [:p]  [laugh]

Too bad that time no dash cam to relive the moment  :XD:

Only if you not local bah, you reminded me of these Amdk who brought their culture over and beat up the taxi driver and some of them ran away from SG  [smash]

Talking about AMDK, shld see those morning situations at CBD.  Those on e-scooters n bikes, think they are in their hometown.
