Then you'll need to deburr the ends. Cutting wood, maybe a tree or branch stump is ok. But if you're working to piece together a project, you're need a square or adaptor of some kind. Just holding it free hand will not cut a square. I bought some Ikea Ivar wood shelf to make a project, and I only use a hacksaw. Mine 5+ years no issue.My LG direct drive is already more than 15 yrs. That time they were the cheaper brand, now also expensive.So far changed that huge metal ring clip that broke because of rust.
