The details of the March 2019 2nd open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) are as follows:

 

Tender opens: Monday, 18 March 2019, 12 noon

Tender closes: Wednesday, 20 March 2019, 4.00 pm

Tender results: Wednesday, 20 March 2019 (Available on the www.onemotoring.com.sg website)

 

The total quota available for this tender is 4,386 for the following vehicle categories:

 

NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:

Category A: Cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW (130bhp)) => 1,650

Category B: Cars (above 1600cc or 97kW (130bhp)) => 1,201

Category D: Motorcycles => 834

 

TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:

Category C: Goods Vehicles and Buses => 304

Category E: Open Category => 397

Feb dereg 2570

Mar dereg lets say 3400

 

May-Jul Cat A quota per round = (3438 + 2570 + 3400) × 0.9 ÷ 6 = ~1400. I think more likely 13xx. Quite a significant drop. Apr Cars at Expo is last chance

Next review quota sure drop. Less car scrap for Jan and feb.
