Is there a manual for test drive? I sure hope so.

Nope, 1.3X, 1.5H/Advance comes in Auto. Only 1.3G avail in Manual. Edited by Cypher

Looks like it might be a tough ask to sell Myvi at sub $60k with the COE going up.

Too bad for Perodua as if they had launched this few mths ago, it would be real bang for buck! Sub $60k is a real psychological barrier for budget buyers.

Used to be $70k but as quite a few cars broke this level, it’s no longer the magical barrier n human is such that, he/she will take awhile to erase $60k from their brains.

Yep...Really the  wrong time to launch. But things in life at times can be hard to predict. So they have to make the best of the current situation.

See what prices they can come up with on 13 April

You can’t compare Spacestar with MYVI.

Spacestar loses out in all aspects.

1.2 litre, 3 cylinder, 12 valve vs 1.3 litre, 4 cylinder 16 valve

And MYVI is broader in width and has a more more spacious interior

* C&C is no longer selling Spacestar, which is the hatch version of the Attrage

Most probably poor sales. Thats why no longer selling

This agent is not known for it competitive pricing. With the rising COE prices,  its even worse. Cross your fingers if you looking to buy one.

As long as they priced it below spacestar should be able to entice some buyers.

If C&C no more selling spacestar then myvi not much competition for those who wanna get budget hatch.. both note n jazz selling for quite a bit more..

Attrage and Acent and Note are the main competitors.  Anything above these 3 models prices for the 1.3 version will be almost impossible to sell.

Of course there will still be buyers but it will be a negligible number. It is never easy to sell a Malaysian made cars to buyers in Singapore.

So if its pricing fails, it will suffer the same fate as Bezza and Axia.

The pricing is the deciding factor.

Myvi give Malaysian price and then Sg tax. Should be able to ko every other brand for no fuss drivers.

Then if note has the medalist/e-note conversion available....

Myvi 1.3(X) trim equipment a bit better than Bezza (X).

4 Airbags, Eco Idle, Leather Wrapped Steering With Audio Control, Electric Retractable Side Mirror, LED Headlamp, VSC/TRC/HSA...

Tq for this pc of great info. It does look better in eqpt lvl in this case to strongly consider 1.3 Myvi too for just a mere few k topup.

Is there a Myvi wagon? I"d definitely jump on the bandwagon for a wagon generous cargo space for balik kampung trips..haha

The Aruz will fit into the generous cargo category but will be underpowered with a 1.5liter engine for a 1.3 ton SUV. Same usage cateory like Sienta, Freed etc etc.

I dun wanna see Myvi else I m gonna be swayed. Shall wait for Aruz to be available as well.

Cheers..

Yup agree...with the brand stigma...only with price may hv a better edge. But I think it still may not sell well given the brand stigma.

Singaporeans love the strong sgp-myr rate but vice versa for their products. Cheong for msia shopping but scared lose face buying msia brand. Lol...

I say if the 1.5 Myvi top trim go under 10k less than its class...thumbs up.

As we all know the Malaysian price, trying to sell on par with imported JDMs is not intelligent.

Cheap and good with rebadged MIMy Daihatsu.

Aloose yes the Ah loose.

Another cheap and good option.

Phv drivers will definitely go for this 1,3 myvi, if the price is right.

Wonder if the 1.5 trim will come with integrated SmartTAG toll reader. Should have made the 1.5 trim available for test drive to showcase Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) 1.0.

The 1.5 model on sale here is not Advance variant, so does not come with ASA I think..

Thats a shame. SG always lose out on the highest variant. Will Aruz also suffer the same fate if its brought in?
