As to the video being leaked and shared, it is against the protocol of the organisation, but, I am personally grateful to be able to see it and I've shared it with my family members! I take it as a piece of educational material. It shows us how freak accidents can happen and it actually enhance our situational awareness! Who knows, we might be able to get out of danger's way in similar situations?

Furthermore, I don't see there is any infringement of privacy or whatsoever as the images of those in the video are not identifiable!

 

Honestly most people's mindset is the same as those who wishes to see more opposition in the government but just not at their backyard!

 

Same here....they like to see this leak video as "education" , as long the victim is not their family members.

 

For people who knows the victim,  the victim is quite easily identifiable from the footage.

 

For those who thinks it is ok to leak such video, you just have to think what if the victim is your closest family member, and do you want her children and her children's children to keep seeing it for years and years to come?

 

I feel it is a  good education too, but I feel more of the hurt and sadness of the victim's family when this video make its way around the world.

I didn't get to see your attachment, but I believe it's the same one I received in my WhatsApp message yesterday afternoon.  The message was forwarded to me by a friend, and I actually asked him how reliable was the information, he was not the original disseminator of the message and thus unable to confirm whether it was true or not.

 

The person who spread this fake news will not live in peace.

I just got this on my whatsapp... Dunno authentic or not... If fake, then these ppl really got some social issues...

I know you are sharing to seek confirmation (NOT spreading fake news), but as the attachment (depict a funeral wake) has someone photo in it, I deem that as inappropriate (privacy concern, even if that is the real victim), thus the decision to have it removed.

 

I urge all reading this post to help stop this piece of fake news from spreading via whatsapp, FB, IG, etc. simply by replying to the sender that it is fake news and delete the message immediately. Hopefully the originator will be dealt with soon.
