Try googling. You find out faster. I have no idea about the hidden gems there. 

Any hidden gems around toa payoh / balestier? Working around here temporary.

The Thai style bak chang is quite different from Singapore's, very little meat and lots of nuts so I don't like.

 

Always buy in Singapore and bring back put in freezer for later meals. Normally I buy from a stall in Hong Lim known as Hiong Kee this is very traditional Hokkien style bak chang. This round saw in net a Hoo Kee shop at Bukit Merah Central block 161 thought I'd try it.

Ha I grew up eating nonya ba zhang.

But now don't eat often. I always scared of glutinous rice giving indigestion.

Had Jap Rice Bowl set for dinner.. @ Puri Puri (Beach Road)

The wagyu set not worth it ... all sets served with healthy 16 grains rice ...

Think the Sirloin set more wu hua.. $16

Taste wise : 7.5/10

Place a bit smoky due to poor or never service the suction hood..
