Chocolate Bread with Lemon Peel. Can't see the peel after baking, but strong aroma of lemon. Quite refreshing. [:)]

Hypersonic

those into roasted duck, dian xiao er is having a membership promotion now.

Pay $88 for a one membership, which can collect points (quite useless to me actually on the points).

in return you get 2 x $50 e-vouchers, which are valid for 3 months, only one e-voucher can be use at a time, one whole duck free ( worth $52) plus 20% discount for birthday meal.

I have used up everything except 1 last $50 e-voucher, quite worth it i think.  ^_^  [laugh]  [laugh]

the free duck dont have to claim all at 1 go, the waitress mentioned we can order half dine in, and the other half tabao and take away, or take half on meal day and the other half another day within the same birthday month. Also dont have to be the same duck, can be half ducks of different herbs. But how it really work out I dont know liao, we took the whole duck and tabao the balance back at the end of the meal.

The 2x $50 e-voucher is not for ducks only, can be use to off set the total bill, so yah unless live nearby and eat at DXE often then worth it.

Last weekend we had a potluck session, so I went over, got a duck and some dishes, used one e-voucher to off set the total bill. Now left one, got to remember to use it by Aug or it will just disappear without anyone noticing.

The danger of e-vouchers. .  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

It will be good if you have a family of like 4. Me and my mrs had to order till $50 to use the last voucher. Now waiting for my birthday month to consume the duck.

This promo was months back, thought it have ended.

Chuan kee duck rice. Rice and chilli better than hup seng.

Was deciding between this and nasi lemak since just ate duck rice on Sunday. But see the queue only 2 people... Succumbed.

This stall carrot cake not bad. 7/10. Too bad no chilli since share with kids. Their ckt also not bad.

Going down the list of things I want to eat before I restart work later this month. Lol

Any good recommendation for nice steak or wagyu ?

Below 30 - Isteaks

Around 60+ - the ranch at astons

100 or above - share bistecca's Florentine (porterhouse) steak. Not their tomahawk.

Around bistecca price, mortons and Wolfgang is also good. Wolfgang lunch is quite value for money (not sure if still have).

Wagyu I dunno. Cos the better places I go to are all usda prime. Not really a fan of too marbled wagyu.

Lunch at Peace Japanese Cuisine.

Their sashimi nothing to shout about. Feel it's bit overrated. Edited by Lala81
