those red crabs are innocent [:(]

I am referring to the detention camp in Christmas island.

Quote..

"Some of those on Christmas Island do have significant and violent criminal histories; the Australian immigration minister, Peter Dutton, has described them as “serious criminals … extreme threats”.

New Zealand citizens held include those convicted of manslaughter, grievous bodily harm, child sex offences, armed robbery, armed assault on a child or spouse, assaulting police, drug supply and weapons and stalking offences, the Australian government said.."

sometimes its hard to trust "these" people .................. Dunno whether is it a ploy to go back and start a cell ? Terrorists have no qualms on using women and children.

Heard a song on radio just now, depicts her life now -->

wrong way on a one way track (lyrics)

The concept of nationality rights don't really apply to them when the state disavows them.

Is it possible to create a law with enough safeguards that allows a state to disavow it's citizens thereby revoking their citizenship?

This is a showcase.

Kick the girl out, revoking her citizenship; and the next batch of bravados who up and go; join the next ISIS or ISIS 2.0, etc. will think very hard.

Let her in, and these people will think it's nothing. They can always come back and everything is back to normal.

For the US case.

Her father is suing to bring her daughter back.

I think will drag on for some time...

Local case but relevant imo --> So if all say regret and wanna go home, a very real possibility to invite a tiger back home. Call me cruel, call me inhuman, these people should never be allowed back !

News of these latest arrests came as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria's (ISIS) caliphate has been dismantled, with several hundred mostly foreign fighters making their last stand to defend an area under 1 sq km near Syria’s border with Iraq.

However, security authorities remain concerned that the extremist ideology that fuelled the group remains active, and will continue to spread as foreign fighters seek to return home as well as export their battles to South-east Asia and elsewhere, including through social media

imo they should have cancelled citizenship the moment they knew years ago that they were leaving their country to fight for ISIS.

unlike other conflicts, ISIS is THE enemy of whole world.

Why would the people fighting isis even bother to take prisoners?

If I were involved, no way.. the risk of them being suicide bombers is way too strong to risk me or my men's lives in allowing them to close in.

Yes I'd shoot first.. and often.
