Shuttle is like replacement for airwaves right? So the rear passage is for 2-3 person right? So vezel rear is spacious than shuttle?

Yes Shuttle is like Airwave. To my eyes, Vezel is wider but boot space Shuttle wins.

I can't imagine Shuttle with a child seat and 2 adults behind as the middle portion is really small.

I had a car seat behind and fetch 2 adults. No complain so far. Think maybe need to measure the actual length to compare?

Yeah maybe.

Cos a child seat easily takes over 1 portion (maybe 40%) of the rear seats of the Shuttle.

Then it might be tight for 2 adults but also depends on size.

I do love the boot space though but wife prefers SUV shape so this is out.

Yes, same sentiment that the SUV shape looks more sporty.

 

But I got shuttle due to the need of the boot space.

Pros

Impressive FC at 18.50 km/l.

CVT very smooth

Pick up tested to 3K rpm and have to release due to DOHC I-Vtec 130 hp, need my license for work.

Whole family of 5 very happy with the cabin size, especially the head and leg room, cargo area very large and practical.

 

Cons

Noise insulation typical honda, especially from rear.

No much accessories available yet, launched in JP only in May 2015. Especially missing is the tonneau cover.

 

Had shopped around before placing deposit with the PI, be wary of ultra low price which cannot deliver.

Tips is to check facebook for a more established PI and see constant delivery of car, taken with the buyer.

 

Hope to see more shuttle on the road.

IMHO regarding the rear passenger seats of Shuttle and Vezel. 

 

When wife & I were shopping around these 2 models, dealer told us Shuttle and Vezel had the same size (maybe a minimal difference) for rear passenger seats but I was not convinced.

 

The purpose of me wanting the Vezel was simply I prefer the compact SUV more and I thought it would be more comfy for 2 adults to fit in after putting in a child seat. Our current Altis (2009) unable to fit 2 adults comfy in with a child seat. So I thought, for what change to Shuttle and later on having the same problem? Furthermore, it would be easier for me to get in & out of Vezel (car higher ma). However, wife prefers the Shuttle because of the boot space. 

 

So dealer took a measuring tape to measure the rear passenger seats of Shuttle & Vezel and proved to me both had same length (left to right). So, I was somewhat convinced that both Shuttle & Vezel having the 'same' rear passenger space. For legroom space and headroom space, visibly I think also about the same. 

 

In the end, we settled for the Shuttle as I was convinced and it would be wife's daily drive.

Can say it this way bro. 

Actually dealer kept emphasizing the interior space of Shuttle & Vezel were the same (very minimal difference I suppose) except for the boot space, and car height.

Yeah Shuttle is my next target car. Waiting for end this year.. COE to drop drop dropppp !!!!!

My PI told me for the boot space, shuttle is longer by 10cm only although it looks longer than that. Other than boots space, vezel has other stuff like ionizer, the city break thingy..which to me is not worth that extra $8k to $10k. Just my personal view. :)

Just to add on, dealer also emphasized Vezel has got 6 airbags, Shuttle only 2.

Shuttle is actualli larger overall since got more space volume. Vezel feels kinda small.
