Majority of 300k still on bikes and cars. Probably the RTS is to supplement the crossings to be 400k daily😅. Frankly, the high speed train is only good for KL and further. JB no need speed just ensure causeway no jam. If 300k daily commute here to work with proper work pass, then why still need to stamp passport leh? Random check for illegal stuff good enough mah. Hope that day will come. ↡ Advertisement

HSR is more for middle mgmt, PMET level workers to shuttle between two major cities, maybe more for weekend shuttle for Malaysian working here then back KL to family vice versa. Johor LRT probably meant for students and blue collar workers daily commute.

Jamesc Hypersonic January 10, 2023 Share January 10, 2023 I think they should build a bridge above the causeway and as trade increase between countries add a third, fourth, fifth etc etc That will eliminate the jam and facilitate economic growth for both sides. "This project is a commitment from the government, as a country, we have to do it. The project is also halfway through with all the land already purchased,” he was quoted in The Star newspaper. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/asia/jb-singapore-rts-link-project-track-start-operations-end-2026-3209646

Was it the highway or road that is causing the jam? It was the number of counters and people (rather the type of people) manning the counters lah 😆
