Why?

Well, the opinions expressed here do not represent the majority of buyers out there. 

We have members who hate Toyotas, decry their lack of features, and the higher OMV.

But perhaps the average buyer is actually looking out for these and appreciates the simplicity of their cars.

See how many buyers of the cars with lots of features still drive their cars after 5 years? 

Or ask the workshops what second hand car to buy? 

And amongst the conti cars, which ones to avoid? 
The workshops may give you a very different answer ... 😉

The average member here is more likely to be a driving enthusiast, and can put up with more quirks and seeks out the thrills in his/her driving experiences, so they may be more tolerant of quirks.

To an Alfa enthusiast, the car has 'character'... to the average driver, that car maybe a no no ... so as always, YMMV.... cheers
